KABUL — The Ministry of Public Health held a high-level coordination meeting with the Hajj Committee to discuss plans for delivering essential health services to Afghan pilgrims during this year’s Hajj season.

The meeting, chaired by Minister of Public Health H.E. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, brought together deputy ministers and key central directors. The agenda centered on enhancing preventive measures, improving the quality of medical services during the pilgrimage, and addressing issues encountered in the previous year.

Minister Jalali underscored the need for comprehensive preparation, including the supply of essential medicines, deployment of medical teams, distribution of preventive materials, and provision of critical medical equipment. He called on all stakeholders to fulfill their responsibilities with diligence to ensure the well-being of pilgrims and guarantee timely access to health services throughout the Hajj.
