MoPH Signs USD 299,998 MoU with CARE to Provide Healthcare Services in Balkh Province

The Ministry of Public Health has signed an eleven-month MoU worth USD 299,998 with CARE Organization to provide healthcare services in Balkh Province.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to improve the quality of healthcare services, expand access to healthcare, and address the health needs of the communities. Under the MoU, 16,875 residents of the province will benefit from healthcare services provided through two health facilities, while 38 people will be provided with employment opportunities in the healthcare sector.

CARE representatives assured that the project would be implemented in accordance with all established standards over the eleven-month period, with particular attention to addressing the healthcare needs of the local communities.
