The private health sector in Kapisa was monitored to prevent overpricing and ensure quality medicines.
Over the past month, officials from Kapisa’s Provincial Public Health Directorate monitored 77 private health facilities across the provincial center and districts. Consequently, 42 pharmacies, 9 medical labs, 13 dental clinics, and 2 X-ray rooms were shut down for violating health laws, overpricing, and lacking qualified staff.
