Foundation Stone Laid for a 30-Bed General Hospital in Arghandab District of Zabul at a Cost of AFN 59 Million

The foundation stone for the hospital was laid by Al-Haj Mullah Faizullah Tamim, Deputy Governor of Zabul, in the presence of Dr. Mirwais Afghan, Provincial Director of Public Health; the Deputy Director of Intelligence; the Provincial Director of Education; the District Governor of Arghandab; and local residents.

The hospital is being constructed with funding from the domestic budget, under the leadership and supervision of the Ministry of Public Health. Once completed, the hospital will improve local residents’ access to quality healthcare services.
