Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani Visits Patients and Reviews Health Services at Kabul Hospitals During Eid al-Adha
Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services of the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, paid an official visit to Ibn-e-Sina Sadri Hospital and Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Kabul on the first day of Eid-al-Adha, accompanied by a delegation of central directors.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister visited patients receiving treatment, reviewed their health conditions, and handed over financial assistance to a number of patients.
The Deputy Minister also conducted an on-site assessment of various hospital departments and issued necessary instructions to healthcare personnel to ensure the delivery of quality and efficient healthcare services to the public during the Eid holidays. He further praised the commitment and tireless efforts of medical staff in maintaining health services during the holidays.
Special directives have been issued by the ministry’s leadership to keep all healthcare facilities across the country fully operational during Eid in a bid to prevent possible public health problems and ensure uninterrupted medical services for citizens.
