MoPH Launches Cardiology Capacity-Building Program at Indira Gandhi Children’s National and Specialized Hospital

A three-month capacity-building training program has been launched for healthcare workers of the Cardiology Department at the Indira Gandhi Children’s National and Specialized Hospital by the Ministry of Public Health.

At a ceremony held for this purpose, Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director General of Curative Medicine at the MoPH, Dr. Mohammad Shafiq Amin, Head of the Cardiac Project, along with cardiology specialists and other healthcare staff, were present.

Dr. Wahdat Alokozai described the launch of the program as a positive initiative and a result of effective management, stressing the importance of its continuation. He said such programs are vital for strengthening healthcare workers’ capacity and improving service delivery.

Notably, the Curative Medicine Directorate of the MoPH continues to conduct various training programs aimed at strengthening the professional capacity of healthcare workers and improving the quality of healthcare services.
