About Ghazanfar Medical Journal

Established in 2016, the Ghazanfar Medical Journal is a peer-reviewed national publication founded by healthcare professionals under the Directorate of Public Health Research and Clinical Studies at the National Public Health Institute of Afghanistan. Since its launch, the journal has consistently published high-quality scientific and clinical research articles in the field of health and medicine. Over the years, it has earned a strong reputation among researchers and practitioners across Afghanistan and beyond. The Ghazanfar Medical Journal is committed to publishing scientific and research-based articles that contribute to strengthening the culture of research in academic and educational settings. The journal aims to provide a platform for effective communication and collaboration between researchers and scientific institutions. It also seeks to utilize recent scientific and research advancements to enhance the academic and professional capacity of the health community.

The Directorate of Public Health Research and Clinical Studies at the National Public Health Institute of Afghanistan is pleased to announce the upcoming publication of the 7th issue of the Ghazanfar Medical Journal, which will reflect a diverse range of health-related topics.

We cordially invite all relevant departments within the Ministry of Public Health, health sector institutions, and national and international organizations conducting research studies or surveys in Afghanistan and seeking publication opportunities, to submit their scientific and research articles for consideration.

Article Submission Requirements:

The content of the article must align with the objectives of the journal.

•          Submissions must be scientific and research-based in nature.

•          Articles should be between 2,000 and 3,000 words in length.

•          The article must not have been previously published in any national or international journal, nor be under simultaneous consideration elsewhere.

•          Articles may be written in English (American style) or one of the national languages of Afghanistan (Pashto or Dari).

•          All submissions must include credible and properly cited references.

•          The topic should address current health challenges and priorities of the Ministry of Public Health and contribute to raising awareness among health professionals
