Deputy Minister Sharafat Inspects Malnourished Children’s Treatment Centre in Helmand, Calls for Improved Services

Having arrived in Helmand province, Mawlawi Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Public Health, accompanied by Mawlawi Fazli Ahmad Shafiullah, Helmand’s Public Health Director, conducted a thorough inspection of the Malnourished Children’s Treatment Centre, which operates under a hunger relief organisation.

Whilst touring the various departments of the centre, the delegation identified numerous challenges that required immediate attention, subsequently issuing detailed recommendations to the responsible authorities with a view to rectifying the highlighted issues.

Furthermore, His Excellency Sharafat took the opportunity to assess the centre’s overall performance and healthcare provision, stressing the imperative for healthcare workers to enhance the quality of their services continuously.
