Healthcare Centers Reopened in Zabul’s Remote Districts, Providing Vital Services to Thousands
In the remote districts of Shah Joy, Shamlazu, Arghandab, and Dai Chopan within Zabul province, three principal healthcare centers and an additional auxiliary facility have been reinstated, thereby initiating comprehensive healthcare provisions for the community.
At the formal inauguration ceremony, Zabul’s Deputy Governor, Mawlawi Mohibullah Hamas, the distinguished Director of Public Health, Dr. Mirwais Afghan, alongside numerous senior officials, were present.
In his address, Dr. Mirwais Afghan, Director of Public Health for Zabul, asserted, “With the reactivation of these health centers, thousands of inhabitants in these previously underserved areas are now poised to access critical healthcare services.”
He further specified that 145 categories of essential pharmaceuticals, alongside an array of indispensable medical supplies, have been systematically allocated to these centers, thereby ensuring the population receives resilient healthcare support.
