Minister of Public Health Calls for Unified Oversight and Strengthened Monitoring of Health Services

A high-level coordination meeting was convened under the leadership of the Ministry of Public Health, bringing together the General Directorate of Monitoring, Auditing, and the Health Information System, the Directorate of Private Sector Coordination, the Directorate of Licensing for Health Professionals, and the Directorate of Health Facility Inspection in a concerted effort to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen interdepartmental synergy, and ensure the seamless execution of regulatory frameworks.
Chaired by the Minister of Public Health, His Highness, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, alongside the Deputy Minister for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Mullah Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat; the Deputy Minister for Health Service, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani; and senior officials from the relevant directorates; this high-level meeting centered on ensuring the efficient and timely fulfillment of mandates, addressing grievances raised by private sector representatives, developing a centralized database system to enhance coordination among private healthcare institutions, and formulating as well as implementing a comprehensive joint monitoring framework.
The Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, unequivocally stressed the urgent need to establish a unified oversight committee comprising the relevant directorates, to define comprehensive cost structures for healthcare services, and to enhance the monitoring frameworks for health facilities. He strongly urged the accountable officials to take immediate and resolute action in this regard.
