The Ministry of Public Health Signs $4.3 Million Contract with BARAN to Expand Healthcare Services in Daikundi Province
The Ministry of Public Health has signed a contract worth $4,314,313 with the Bu Ali & Rehabilitation Aid Network (BARAN) to strengthen and expand healthcare services for the residents of Daikundi Province.
The one-year contract aims to improve the quality of healthcare services, expand access to care, and address the health needs of local communities. Through this agreement, 569,213 residents of the province will receive essential healthcare services through 55 health facilities and 373 Family Health Houses (FHHs). The project will also create 1,377 jobs in the health sector.
BARAN representatives assured that the project will be implemented within one year in line with all set standards and will give special attention to meeting the healthcare needs of the people.
