MoPH Signs $1.668 Million MoU with SCI to Provide Health Services in Kandahar and Faryab
The Ministry of Public Health signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth $1,668,876 with Save the Children International (SCI) to provide health services in Kandahar and Faryab provinces.
The MoU was signed to improve the quality and accessibility of health services and address health challenges faced by local communities. Under the MoU, 65,263 residents of the two provinces will receive health services through three health facilities, while 50 people will be provided with employment opportunities in the health sector.
Representatives of SCI assured that the project would be implemented over the two-year period in accordance with all established standards, with particular attention to meeting the health needs of local communities.
