ICU Nurse (Kandahar)

Job Summary:

The ICU Nurse is responsible for effective and serious nursing care services in ICU. Check and keeping record of vital signs, administration of medicines, match the drug dosage and care of wound in compliance with established ICU policies.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that patient receives its required medicines on time as per specialist order.
2. Prepare and arrange a regular schedule for ICU care patients.
3.  Medical services to patients in order to perform nursing duties within the bed.
4. Collection information responsibly about patient and its care.
5. Performing nursing issues such as checking and recording vital sign and administration of medicines, match the drug dosage and care of wound.
6. Register of patient’s vital signs and all other nursing related treatment charts of patients.
7. Ensure performing laboratory examination and on time informing of doctor.
8. Prepare and arrangement of activities monthly quarterly and yearly plan.
9. Performing night shift duty as per hospital schedule.
10. Provide report of progress of the related sector activities.
11. Active participation in designing and implementation of various trainings within the nursing service.
12. Compliance with all conditions to prevent infection and compliance with medical uniform in the official working time.
13. Implementation and compliance with strict standards set by the relevant department.
14. Active participation in the evaluation of Quarterly assigned standard of related sector.
15. Report to related head nurse and ICU responsible.
16. Perform other duties related to the task that is instructed by the relevant department.
17. Ensure that all medical equipment’s are clean and functional.

Qualifications & Requirement:

1. Must Be Afghan
2. Graduated from recognized health institutes (nursing) Degree/diploma must be attested by Ministry of Higher Education or Ministry of Public Health.
3.  One-year experience in the nursing field.
4. Basic knowledge and understanding of English language.
5. Strong Communication and interpersonal Skill.
