Post objective:                                 To manage all operational tasks related to COVID-19 directorate

Duties:                

  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures in line with MoPH policies
  • Contribute to process of recruitment, training and discipline of employees
  • Plan and review compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures
  • Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete actions plans; implement productions, productivity, quality and service standards related COVID-19; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
  • Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditure; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving supplies, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
  • Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
  • Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations
  • Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor
  • Establish contracts pricing and ensuring proper maintenance and serving as primary liaison with utilities and other local government agencies, such as fire, police, and safety agencies
  • Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings
  • Any other duties assigned by project manager

Profile

Background/training:     Bachelor degree in management or any other related discipline  

Experience:                        5 years’ experience in operation of projects especially in emergency context

                                                Having experience in COVID-19 projects is preferred

Management skills:        ability to direct, guide and supervise a diverse group of people and to

                                                Coordinate activities of different health players
