MoPH Signs $903,091 MoU with SCI to Strengthen Healthcare Services in Jawzjan and Sar-e-Pul
The Ministry of Public Health signed a one-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Save the Children International (SCI), valued at $903,091, to provide healthcare services in Jawzjan and Sar-e-Pul provinces.
The MoU aims to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare services and address the health needs of local communities. Under the MoU, 51,000 residents of the two provinces will have access to healthcare services through five health facilities and one mobile health team, while 83 employment opportunities will be created in the health sector.
Representatives of SCI reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the project in line with all established standards and giving particular attention to meeting the healthcare needs of local communities throughout the project period.
