MoPH Signs $476,047 MoU with Relief International to Strengthen Healthcare Services in Kabul

The Ministry of Public Health signed a one-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth USD 476,047 with Relief International (RI) to provide integrated primary healthcare, nutrition, immunization, and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services in Kabul Province.

The MoU was signed to improve the quality of healthcare services, expand access to healthcare, and address the health needs of the communities. Under the MoU, 44,000 residents of the province will benefit from healthcare services provided through five health facilities, while employment opportunities will be created for 52 people in the healthcare sector.

Representatives of RI also pledged to implement the project in accordance with all established standards throughout the year and to give particular attention to meeting the healthcare needs of the local communities.
