Over the past year, 28,000 drug-addicted patients received treatment and health services across the country

These services were delivered by the Ministry of Public Health’s Directorate of the National Addiction Treatment Program, which provides comprehensive care in both central and provincial facilities to help patients overcome addiction and return to normal life.

The Ministry of Public Health is expanding addiction treatment services and stepping up public awareness campaigns to prevent drug use, inform the public about its harmful effects, and promote preventive measures.
