This monitoring was conducted by the Laghman Provincial Public Health Directorate's inspection officials, resulting in the closure of 4 pharmacies, 2 laboratories, 1 dental clinic, 2 wholesale drug stores, and a branch of a pharmaceutical company for violating health regulations.
During the monitoring, 68 expired and substandard medicines, food items, and cosmetics, weighing about 450 kilograms, were collected and sent to the central warehouse for disposal.
